Welcome to the tribe, Doug! (OK, I know you've been a member for a while, but I just found out about it.) Seems like you were born to follow the covenant. A bris (covenant) is a powerful concept. Fyi, the first covenant described in the bible (prior to Abraham's) was God's covenant with Noah--a rainbow. He showed it to Noah after the flood as a reminder that he would never do that again. (That is, nearly destroy the earth with a great flood.) So when you see that rainbow after the rain, you can relax. No flood in sight.....!
